The X Factor 18/09/2013 – Recap, Review and Analysis

The Reality Television show ‘The X Factor’ that aired on 18/09/2013 starring Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio as judges saw another week filled with a lot of amazing talent.  To know what happened during the course of the show, Read on for the complete X Factor 18/09/2013 Recap along with a review and analysis of the show.

The show kicked off with around 5 girls between 21-25 showing their talent via singing.  Simon claimed that everything about them was old fashioned and said no.  Along with the girls another group named Forever Young were also out of the competition as Simon felt they were old fashioned too.

A group named AKNU were next up on stage.  Before they stared performing to the song Valerie, Simon claimed he hated the song.  The crowd however thought otherwise.  Kelly claimed they were refreshing while Demi said that there was something special about them.  Simon said it was like watching MoTown all over again and loved the performance.  They were given a yes to move on to the next round.

Next up were Auditions from Charleston.

Brandie love was the first contestant at the X Factor 18/09/2013 in charleston.  Simon claimed Brandie took them to church and loved the song.  Demi said her favorite thing was when someone took country music and added something to it.  She moved on tot he next round.

14 Year old Millie Thrasher and 13 year old Timmy Thames were also allowed to move on to the next round.

A performer named Vincent who sang How do i like without you by LeAnn Rimes was a well below average performance.  Simon claimed it was one of the worst performance he had ever heard.

16 year old Carlos was the next to perform at X Factor 18/09/2013.  He sang the song Gravity by John Mayer.  His performance was one of the best of the night and it earned him a standing ovation.  Paulina said she felt proud of him while Demi claimed he had a beautiful voice and a soul.  Kelly said she was grateful she was there to witness him.  Simon lastly said that he liked that Carlos was not a victim and that he hadn’t stopped singing.

CJ and Chloe’s performance was also below average with Simon claiming that they both were absolutely awful.

Malie DelGado moved on to the next round.

Colton Pack performed to a song named Hick Town and impressed the judges quite a bit.  Demi said the performance was pitchy and that he had a natural stage presence.  Kelly thought he had a unique voice while Simon really liked him.

Danie Geimer who was a 15 year old, sang to a song The House of Two.  Kelly said she was it and was impressed by her.  She was put through to the next round.

A contestant named Keff was returning after he tried out on the auditions last year as well.  He performed to the song “Don’t want to miss a thing.”  Simon stopped him midway because he thought he was trying to imitate Steven Tyler and he was disappointed.  He gave him another chance after which Judges gave him a standing ovation.  Simon claimed he had picked up some bad habits along the way in his career but liked his singing and also said that he was honored to have him in the show while Kelly claimed him to be incredible.  Jeff was going through.
