Pakistan Vs Zimbabwe 24/08/2013 – Results, Review and Statistical Highlights

Statistical Highlights

When Pakistan came into bat they lost the wicket of Nair Jamshed early once again but Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammed Hafeez did quite well to ensure they reached a very good total to have a strong grasp on the match.  Pak ended up losing only one wicket throughout their innings with their best highlights being Shehzad and Hafeez who scored 98 and 54 respectively and remained not out as they reached the score of 179/1.  As far as Zimbabwe’s bowling was concerned, Shindi Masakadza picked up a wicket.

When Zimbabwe came into bat they started off quite well but kept losing regular wickets.  At one stage it looked like they might end up pulling off an upset but unfortunately it was not to be.  The best highlights of their batting were Hamilton Masakadza who made a score of 41 and Elton Chigumbura who remained not out at a score of 35 to reach a target of 160/6 in their 20 overs which left them short of 19 Runs.  As far as Pakistan’s bowling was concerned, Hafeez picked up 3 wickets.  Take a look at the scorecard of the entire match below.
