Pakistan Vs Zimbabwe 23/08/2013 – Results, Review and Statistical Highlights

Statistical Highlights

CricketWhen Pakistan came out to bat they struggled initially as they lost a couple of wickets early, However a superb innings by Ahmed Shehzad ensured he held one end up and helped them reach a respectable total.  He was the best highlights of their innings as he made 70 and apart from him the other notable performances were by Sohaib Maqsood and Shahid Afridi who made 26 and 23 respectively to help them reach a score of 161/5 in 20 overs.  As far as Zimbabwe’s bowling was concerned Tendai Chatara bowled exceeding well as he picked up 2 wickets.

Zimbabwe’s batting started off well with both their openers Hamilton Masakadza and Visu Sibanda scoring quick runs.  Unfortunately after their wickets fell there was no one else apart from Brendan Taylor who really went after the target.  They fell 25 Runs short with Taylor being the best highlights of their innings as he remained not out at a score of 32.  As far as Pakistan’s bowling was concerned,, Shahid Afridi was the pick of their bowlers as he took 3 wickets.  Take a look at the scorecard of the entire match below.
