Pakistan Vs South Africa 11/11/2013 – Results and Review

The Fifth One Day International (ODI) Cricket match between Pakistan and South Africa held on 11/11/2013 kicked off with the Proteas winning the toss one again and electing to bat.  After having a torrid time in the series, the Pakistani’s were looking to gain some pride as they had already lost the series 3-1.  To know about what happened during the course of the match, read on for the complete scorecard, results and review of the match below.

CricketWhen South Africa came in to bat they lost a wicket of Hashim Amla early but ensured they had partnerships throughout their innings to help them reach a total of 268 for 7 in their fifty overs.  The best highlights of their batting was AB De Villiers who made a score of 115 and remained not out.  As far as Pakistan’s bowling was concerned, Saeed Ajmal picked up 3 wickets.

When Pakistan came in to bat they lost the wickets of their openers pretty early and never got any partnerships going.  Apart from Sohaib Maqsood who made a score of 53 there was no one  who was even able to give a fight back to the proteas.  Once again just like most of their matches earlier, Pakistani’s slumped to an easy defeat.  As far as South Africa’s bowling was concerned, Wayne Parnell picked up 3 wickets.
